The Operating System
Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) is an operating system released by Microsoft in 1999 as an update to the original Windows 98. It aimed to address several issues and provide enhancements to the user experience. Windows 98 SE included improvements such as better support for USB devices, improved stability and performance, updated drivers, and additional features for internet connectivity. Despite being considered a significant improvement over its predecessor, Windows 98 SE was ultimately superseded by newer versions of the Windows operating system, and support for it was discontinued in 2006.
